The San Gabriel Pomona Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross serves 1.8 million people in 44 communities from La Canada Flintridge to Pomona and Duarte to Rowland Heights, covering 320 square miles. The chapter helps prevent, prepare for and respond to life-threatening emergencies by providing, first aid stations, Rose Parade operations, emergency and disaster response, preparedness education, health and Safety classes, blood services and service to the armed forces.
