Collaboratory

“Collaboratory” is a new term used to describe a networked organizational form that makes breakthrough achievement in community problem solving possible. In many ways, the organizational form that is NASA and its thousands of partners fits the definition perfectly and the visual identity for Collaboratory draws inspiration directly from this. It is a visual expression of all of the social problems that the foundation has set out to solve and the people, ideas, resources, disciplines, technology, strengths, tenacity and creativity that they will bring together to do it.
