SUBTHEORY

The Subtheory are a band very close to my heart, we are both musicians based in Oxfordshire so when they approached me for these projects I was ecstatic.

The first project was to create a logo for them to have printed onto a football clubs uniform (top right) Subtheory's consistent theme tends to be black and white with a dash of colour, their music is euphoric techno, think Kate Bush mixed with Carl Cox from the 90's. I enjoyed playing with the colour on this one, creating what I see as a soft trippy palette. Our next project together was a single release flyer, this was to be handed out at the football game. They gave me the image, the text content and asked me to keep it on brand for them. I came up with the idea to have two contrasting sides to the flyer, insinuating that there were two teams  and you had to pick a side. I chose contrasting colours that fit their style and even had two alternating lines from their new single on each side.
