Throughout my time dedicated to #dataviz, I’ve created several projects as part of job applications, and I’ve done it quite a lot... hahah🤣. So, I have a repository of rejections that, despite everything, might serve as inspiration for others. Here’s something I made last year. 🎮 This project showcases the 50 most-watched games on streaming platforms in 2024. 📊 The main visualization, a bump chart, tracks how the most popular titles changed position throughout the year. 📉 I also added a bar chart to display the total hours watched until October. 💭 I still think I should have created the visualization in Tableau. That way, I could have better leveraged the exploratory side of the bump chart, adding filters for months and titles (right?😅), maybe even including all 1,000+ titles🤔. But the request was for PDF reports, so the challenge was to summarize everything as effectively as possible...😜 Thanks!
