Annika Wahl is a yoga teacher, neuro-yoga specialist, and published author based in Germany. She runs YogaStreet studio in Gelsenkirchen, hosts the annual Erdlicht Yoga Festival, and offers corporate wellness programs for businesses.
She needed a personal brand website that could unify all of these offerings under one roof: private classes, retreats, workshops, her new book on neuro-yoga therapy, and B2B corporate wellness services. The design had to feel warm and grounded while clearly organizing a complex range of services.
My Approach
I handled design and WordPress development end-to-end:
Design: Created a calming, wellness-focused aesthetic with earthy tones and clean typography. Organized her offerings into four clear pillars (Body, Mind, Leisure, Business) so visitors can quickly find what's relevant to them. The layout balances personal storytelling with practical information.
Development: Built a custom WordPress theme with multiple content sections, video embeds (Vimeo + YouTube), Google Maps integration, and WhatsApp/Signal contact integration. Implemented Borlabs Cookie for full GDPR compliance.
Key Deliverables
Custom WordPress theme with wellness-focused design
Four-pillar service architecture with dedicated landing pages
Book promotion section with Amazon integration
Events calendar for festivals, retreats, and workshops
Video embeds (Vimeo + YouTube) for content marketing
Google Maps integration for studio location
WhatsApp/Signal contact integration
GDPR-compliant cookie management (Borlabs Cookie)
Fully responsive mobile-first design
The Result
A cohesive digital presence that connects Annika's personal brand, her studio, her festival, and her book into one seamless experience. The site serves as both a booking platform and a content hub, helping her reach new students and corporate clients.
Designed and developed a WordPress site for a yoga teacher and author, featuring class bookings, event schedules, book promotion, and corporate wellness services.
