Client: BLA Design Group
Project Type: Full Website Redesign
Platform: Webflow
BLA-design.com, a Vancouver-based interior design studio, hired me to design their website. We collaborated using Figma to explore design options and plan the site structure. The result is a sleek, intuitive website that beautifully reflects BLA-design.com's creative vision.
Approach
This was a super collaborative project, especially working closely with Jesse, one of the cofounders. He’s a designer himself and deeply in tune with the design industry, which made the process sharp and efficient. The feedback was fast, focused, and always on point.
Working with someone that experienced was powerful—it pushed the project forward with clarity and intention. There was a real sense of pride in being able to build something with him that felt so aligned with the studio’s vision.
Presenting the Projects
A lot of care went into how the projects were shown. We wanted each one to feel like its own visual space—not just part of a list or gallery. The layouts are simple, but not plain. Big imagery, clear pacing, and minimal text. Enough context to guide, but never enough to get in the way.
The goal was to create room for the viewer to pause and actually absorb the design. No overload, no distractions. Just the work—quiet and confident.

Motion and Interaction
To keep things feeling smooth and modern without being flashy, I used GSAP to implement custom scroll animations and subtle transitions across the site. The goal wasn’t to draw attention to the motion itself, but to create a sense of fluidity—pages that feel like they flow, not just load.
Result
Timeless Design: Clean, grounded visuals that reflect BLA’s sensibility.
Work-Centered: Every decision points back to the portfolio.
Mobile Ready: Fully responsive and fast, without compromises.
Outcome
The result is a site that feels calm, confident, and fully aligned with BLA’s design values. It puts their work first, carries a quiet sense of authority, and feels intentional from first scroll to last. Clean structure, subtle motion, and a visual rhythm that reflects the studio’s approach. A strong presence—nothing more, nothing less.
