The challenge

GameU teaches game design through live classes with instructors who have worked on titles like GoldenEye and Star Wars games.
The platform had to serve two completely different users in one product: an eight-year-old picking a Minecraft class and a professional games-industry instructor building a curriculum. And it had to scale as more schools signed up.

What we built

Both student and educator experiences on shared infrastructure
Embedded as their product team for three months before designing anything
Custom gamification engine built from scratch
Full journey: students booking and rescheduling classes, educators building courses and managing rosters
Real-time communication between students and educators
Built in Bubble.
