When people want to visit Venice, they want to stay on the island.

Since our target rarely chose Mestre to stay, we had some challenges:

Owners' Story: I spoke with the owners and listened to their story. They were a young couple who bought an old building and designed it to reflect their personalities 👩‍❤️‍👨

Mission: They wanted to offer tourists a more affordable and comfortable solution. By staying in Mestre, guests could save money on their stay and use it for activities in Venice.

Opportunity: Being a small island, Venice offers small apartments. While driving to Venice, parking is a huge problem. Visitors often wait in long lines to park their cars and walk to the island. So, I defined our target audience: families or groups who travel by car 🚘

Wrote the landing page, services, about us, and contact pages

Created a communication strategy and message templates to be used with guests

Designed the website using Wix, wrote meta tags, and configured SEO settings

Edited Laguna Boutique's Airbnb, Booking, and Google Business pages

Some cities, like Venice or Paris, do their own marketing. But marketing an unfamiliar city can be challenging 🏡

Less is more. Instead of attracting everyone, I focused on a specific group: people who travel by car and prioritize comfort over popularity. I created a brand voice that emphasizes the comfort of staying in Mestre. As a result, many potential clients preferred Laguna Boutique and appreciated its affordability 🍕

I really enjoyed seeing the results of this project. Guests love the brand voice reflected on the website, emails, and communication, and appreciate our “less is more” mentality ✨
