The Mission

The iron rebar industry is a 20-year-old market historically plagued by manual sketches and ambiguous ordering. EasyBar’s mission was to modernize this lifecycle from the ground up. I joined as a Full-Stack Developer to build a production-grade marketplace where construction planners can visually design rebar structures and receive instant, machine-ready quotes from vendors.

The Roadblocks

The construction industry faces high costs for "small" errors. Before EasyBar, the client’s digital presence was static and couldn't handle the complexity of real-world structural needs.
Static Limitations: The previous system only supported a few fixed sketches, failing the flexibility required for custom construction projects.
The Communication Gap: Orders were frequently misinterpreted, leading to production waste and site delays.
Manual Scaling: No infrastructure existed to manage vendor subscriptions or bridge the gap between a design and a manufacturing ticket.

The Technical Core: My Contribution

Working on a greenfield product, I was responsible for the interactive core of the platform—moving beyond simple forms into dynamic, canvas-based engineering tools.
Interactive Design Engine: Built a high-performance visual workspace using ReactJS and KonvaJS (Canvas API) to allow users to manipulate 2D structural designs with real-time feedback.
Scalable API Architecture: Developed and integrated backend APIs to handle complex geometry data, order state management, and multi-tenant subscriptions.
User-Centric Workflows: Designed and implemented the logic for lead-to-order transitions, ensuring that complex rebar specifications remain structured and accurate.
Vendor SaaS Infrastructure: Built the subscription and management modules that allow manufacturers to access structured data and generate production-ready tickets.

Dynamic Rebar Design Suite: An interactive tool where users define bar size, spacing, and bending shapes with millimetric accuracy.
Dynamic Net & Cage Synthesis: Real-time 2D reinforcement net and cage creation, ensuring project-specific requirements meet manufacturing compliance before the order is placed.
Automated Order Lifecycle: A streamlined interface that simplifies the submission of complex rebar specifications into structured data.
Vendor Subscription Portal: A dedicated workspace for manufacturers to manage their pipeline, access order tickets, and analyze production trends.
Advanced Admin Analytics: A comprehensive panel for platform owners to visualize data trends, manage users, and track marketplace health.

The Finish Line: Impact & Business Outcomes

The launch of EasyBar turned a manual process into a scalable, high-revenue engine that was quickly recognized by the industry.
$30M+ in Potential Orders: Generated within the first year of production.
Rapid Adoption: Attracted over 1,000 active users within the first 30 days.
Incubator Success: The platform was accepted into a prestigious ConTech Incubator program.
