CIAW is an incredible organization that supports the development and adoption of new technologies and practices that improve animal welfare. Their goal was to have a brand with clear recognition. They wanted something that was modern and professional that showcases their innovation for animal welfare. I designed an egg (as all animals start off as eggs) with a gear for the yolk, as the gear represents innovation and collaboration. I chose the primary colors to be blue and orange. Blue is known for its trust and dependability, and is one of the most common brand colors in the technology space where trust is paramount. Orange is considered a highly stimulating but friendly color. This brand is a great balance of professionalism, business-friendliness and innovation.
