Designing Happy's AI-Driven Team Coaching App

Happy is an innovative SaaS solution designed to empower leaders, HR managers, and employees with AI-enhanced coaching to unlock team potential. Built on a unique methodology, it merges behavioral science with AI to transform workplace dynamics, reimagining the DISC model for a deeper understanding of individual and team behaviors.

Happy's information architecture was built from scratch, designed for seamless navigation, scalability, and usability. Content was strategically organized to ensure clarity, with personalized dashboards and AI-driven insights.

During Happy's conceptualization, three design approaches were explored, each balancing usability, scalability, and AI integration. After thorough evaluation, the most grounded and user-centric option was selected.

Happy is designed for people at work, so it needs to be where they communicate most - directly within platforms like Slack and MS Teams for quick and seamless access.

Our goal was to bring key aspects of Happy directly into Slack, allowing users to access essential features without leaving their communication tool. If they need more functionality, they can easily transition to the web app for a deeper experience.

To achieve this, everything was initially built using Slack’s Web Builder, ensuring everything will look exactly the same. Once the design and functionality were finalized, the code was handed off to developers for full implementation and optimization.
