iOS development of investment app for stocks, ETFs and crypto: BUX
I've joined BUX "kernel" team as an external contractor / iOS Engineer in order to contribute the company's goal to make investment easy and affordable to anyone, enabling people to do more with their money.
Soon after joining, I meticulously grasped their complex iOS project and started contributing already in the first week, quickly becoming an integral part of their team.
In my first months there, I managed to noticeably optimize development process by introducing modularization based on a monorepo using Swift Package Manager, along with low level improvements regarding project's build configurations and custom environments.
Beside introducing new technologies in the project (like SwiftUI & Combine) I was primarily working on architectural improvements and development of complex features as well as performing detailed code reviews and sharing my knowledge and experience with the team.
