Overview
I created a poster for Miles Morales, using a very clean and vector-like style for his mask and then incorporated more of the character into the composition by adding graffiti text and paint splatters.
Design Process
I created the mask by making the lenses and blending different colors in to create depth and shape to them. Over top of those, I created the Spider-Man mask lens shape and added highlights to those. I then added his mask patterns and highlights in the middle of the mask to add the illusion of there being shape to it. I used the font "To Be Continued" from dafont.com for the graffiti. I added paint splatters to the composition using colors from Miles' "Great Expectations" work featured in the movie Into the Spiderverse.
