Most compression technology competes on the same terms: better codecs, faster speeds, smaller files. The Compression Company was doing something fundamentally different, using neural networks and neuroscience-backed methods to build algorithms that adapt intelligently to the data they're compressing. Their tech stood apart from the crowd (see: in space); their story, less so.
Working with creative studio Ask Tony, I helped them articulate what made their approach distinct, build a brand voice that could hold up to technical scrutiny without losing the plot, and translate it into a launch-ready website——the first public expression of a larger site to come.
