Context: Preston created Brain MD+, an app designed to help users develop neuroscience-based habits for happiness. His mission was to craft an intuitive, engaging platform that supports users in enhancing their well-being through scientifically-backed practices.
Problem: In a competitive app market, delivering a unique and impactful experience can be challenging. Preston's task was to design an app that combines scientific principles with user-friendly features, making the pursuit of happiness accessible and engaging.
Role: As Principal Product Designer, Preston worked closely with Brain MD+'s development team over several months, ensuring a user-centered design that integrates neuroscience insights effectively.
Vision: His objective was to develop a distinctive app that empowers users to incorporate neuroscience-based habits into their daily routines, fostering lasting happiness and well-being.
Approach: Starting with research into neuroscience and user behavior, followed by competitor analysis, Preston moved into design. He developed and refined prototypes to create an engaging, intuitive user experience.
Design Development: Preston iterated medium-fidelity prototypes based on user feedback and detailed them into high-fidelity designs. The app's interface was crafted to be both visually appealing and user-friendly.
High Fidelity Designs: The project advanced to high-fidelity designs with polished visuals and a seamless interface, with Preston ensuring continuous updates for top-notch usability and design quality.
