BKR Brothers

BKR Brothers is a podcast that was formed in 2019 and presents various topics from a personal perspective using conversational language wrapped in a ‘hanging out together’ atmosphere to create closeness with listeners. A new, bold, and bright visual identity that represents BKR's distinctive style of discussing random everyday stories in a casual and enjoyable way.

Logo Explorations

It's quite difficult to create and decide on a logo for a podcast that discusses a wide variety of topics and has no specific focus. The logo used has a neutral feel and is inspired by the podcast episode covers, which are then used to highlight the topic or theme being discussed.

Colors and Typography

To support diverse communication and themes, the use of bold and flexible colour elements is able to evoke emotions and feelings in an episode. Typography set in Neue Haas Grotesk signals a podcast while remaining neutral and modern, suitable for a wide range of themes and titles.

Key Visual System

This visual identity system is supported by an equally flexible positioning, personified as a “hangout buddy”. With a representative and relevant look, it gives listeners an insight into the topics that will be discussed. The flexible layout reflects the casual and unfussy tone of the podcast, while the threshold design style strengthens the distinctive characteristics of the host and the BKR podcast itself.
