As someone who has previously read the book in English, I can say that it was almost as if I was reading two different books. Some parts were translated word-by-word and didn't make much sense in Romanian. I always said that the best translations are the ones that don't give away the fact that they were translated. So, from day one, I needed to make sure my version sounds natural, the sentences flow natural, and the expressions are replaced with Romanian expressions that have a similar meaning.
