As the Lead Product Designer at Marrkett AI, I played a pivotal role in shaping our AI marketing product from its inception. In the early stages, I took charge of crafting the demo UI that showcased the product's potential. This UI was a key element in our investor pitch, impressing stakeholders with its innovative design and user-friendly interface.

‍‍Before we began the design process, we had first had to carry out basic research to help us in understanding the intricacies of AI marketing and the user requirements. I conducted extensive user research to grasp the challenges marketers face and to identify how Marrkett AI could provide innovative solutions.

In tandem with user research, I conducted a comprehensive market analysis to gauge the competitive landscape and identify unique selling propositions. This analysis informed the design decisions, ensuring Marrkett AI stood out in a crowded market.

Identifying the challenges marketers faced in leveraging AI for their campaigns was crucial. This phase shaped the design direction, ensuring Marrkett AI addressed real-world problems and provided tangible solutions.

Navigating the challenges posed by the MarrkettAI project, a noteworthy issue surfaced concerning the user interaction with the AI chatbot. The dilemma centered around transforming the chatbot from a rigid, robotic entity into a friendly and approachable marketing assistant.

The goal was to mitigate the perception of conversing with a traditional AI and instead cultivate an experience akin to interacting with a human. Introducing thinking animations during response wait times was a strategic measure employed to humanize the interaction. However, this journey involved exploring alternative solutions such as incorporating conversational language nuances, injecting humor, and refining contextual understanding.
