This project involved an SEO strategy for a real estate client's website. My focus was to increase organic traffic and generate qualified leads by improving the website's visibility in search engine results for relevant local keywords.
For my SEO strategy, I analyzed competitors to understand their successful and failed tactics. I conducted thorough keyword research to discover what potential clients were searching for and evaluate keyword accessibility. Targeting specific, less competitive long-tail keywords was a priority to capture niche audiences effectively.
Creating high-quality content was central to my approach, focusing on addressing user queries and providing unique insights. I performed a comprehensive technical audit of the client's site, identifying and resolving issues such as response codes, website structure, duplicate content, and web security to enhance overall performance.
Prioritizing the resolution of crawling and indexing issues ensured our content was properly indexed, addressing issues like broken links and slow load speeds. Local optimization was also key; I optimized our Google My Business listing and localized website content to improve regional visibility.
Implementing schema markup, particularly Real Estate Agents Schema, helped search engines better understand our content. Securing local backlinks further increased authority within the community. Regular monitoring of keyword rankings and defining clear KPIs were essential for tracking progress and success metrics.
Google analytics, GSC and SEMrush tools provided insights into user behavior, enabling continuous improvements to content and user experience. Ensuring our internal search engine functioned well was crucial to maintaining high conversion rates. Testing and iterating on website elements was an ongoing process to optimize conversion rates effectively.
The real estate website needed to be optimized for mobile search and compliant with ADA standards was imperative to avoid ranking penalties and enhance accessibility. Improving Expertise, Authority, and Trust (EAT) factors with updated and relevant information further strengthened our online presence and credibility.
Consistently tracking keywords, updating old content, implementing internal linking, optimizing landing pages, and content marketing allowed me to achieve significant results. Within six months, I successfully drove a 100% increase in organic traffic
