Overview
Castrol electric vehicles frequently update their products. To help the sales team understand these new products, we were tasked with designing a training module using a scrolling experience concept. The content was derived from a long and commercial slide deck, and the chosen format was an eLearning course developed on Articulate RISE.
Goals
Our goals were to create a fresh look and feel aligned with Castrol's electric vehicles brand, craft the writing in a conversational tone, and design a learning flow that simplifies technical concepts and terms. The team collaborated closely on content, visuals, and development, and I was involved throughout the entire design process.
Process
Content analysis: We analyzed the slide deck and selected crucial content, to make it easier for the sales team to internalize the new releases.
Content mapping: Designed a content map to organize lessons and interactions throughout the training.
Feedback and implementation: Conducted rounds of feedback and implementation.
Script creation: Crafted a script for the lessons, utilizing AI to enhance the conversational tone.
Asset creation: Developed assets for each module, ensuring alignment with Castrol's brand.
Module development: Populated the modules with content and assets on Articulate RISE.
Results
This project strengthened our client relationship, leading to additional projects. The client considered it one of the most well-made learning content. The engaging eLearning format increased engagement among the sales team, achieving a 90% completion rate.
