ABOUT THE BRAND

Located in Hong Kong, TeamS Fitness & Performance is a gym that specializes in tailoring personalized fitness programs for clients. These programs incorporate the principles of functional training and performance to improve clients' skills and overall health in various aspects. Going beyond the traditional view of workouts as mere physique improvement, TeamS strives to assist clients in achieving holistic health. By empowering them to confront challenges in their daily lives and physical activities, TeamS aims to enhance their overall capabilities and well-being.

Inspired by the shape of stairs, the logo was formed by stacked blocks, representing the persistence required in achieving health goals. Only through stepping forward day after day can we improve and build our desired lifestyle. The original brand color is a muted blue, but in the new identity we opt for a much brighter blue for higher contrast and stronger impression. The elements of concrete and steel is also incorporated in visual materials & interior design to create a grudge and industrial look. A font with block shapes & serifs were chosen to echo the element of stairs.

INTERIOR SPACE To transform the overall appearance with minimal construction work, our approach begins by unifying the color scheme within the space. This involves removing the dominant red lawn carpet, which occupied a considerable portion of the visual area. Additionally, since machines and furniture already feature black, blue, and steel elements, we enhance the space by introducing concrete-textured walls to areas originally painted white. This infusion of texture adds depth and visual interest.

To mitigate the effect of a small space with low ceilings, we strategically incorporate lighting elements. This includes the placement of a logo light sign, a blue light box, and additional spotlights in darker areas. These lighting sources serve two purposes: brightening up the space and creating a visual illusion of expansion.
