Marketing Team Lead | Support Driven



Time period: Transitioned from Marketing Communication Copywriter and Analyst (July 2021- December 2021) to Marketing Team Lead from January 1st, 2022 - August 2022.



Overview:

Support Driven is an online community of more than 10,000 Slack members. As the Marketing Team Lead at Support Driven, my past role extended beyond planning, social media and communication strategy development for internal and client campaigns, execution, and reporting. I served as the primary point of contact for all communication campaigns, managed diverse communication channels (newsletter, Slack, website, Twitter, and LinkedIn), built documentation and processes for the communication team, and led projects.



Key Achievements and Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management: Successfully managed and oversaw over 50+ marketing communication campaigns spanning across different channels such as newsletters, Slack communities, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Content Creation: Over the course of time published a staggering 600+ posts on Slack, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Oversaw 34 Community Flyers and 34 Newsletters, and content curated copywriting for 50+ job posts on social media platforms.
  • Copywriting Expertise: Proofread and refined more than 400+ unique captions and copywriting for over 50+ communication campaigns.



Accomplishments:

1. Mentorship and Team Growth: Transformed into a team lead role, providing guidance, mentorship, and continuous support, facilitating professional growth, teamwork, and strategy improvement. Introduced reverse shadowing for copywriting creation, step-by-step guides for Newsletter and Community Flyer creation, content curation, and made sure Brand Guidelines were being followed.



2. Streamlined Internal Processes:

  • Implemented a rigorous double-checking process to ensure meticulous attention to detail.
  • Established a daily routine for monitoring ongoing campaigns, projects, and requests.
  • Prioritized clear communication for managing time expectations.
  • Introduced a weekly "Plan of The Week" to enhance workflow transparency, priorities, and campaign management.



3. Campaign Request Form and Onboarding Guidelines:

  • Recognized the need for improved client onboarding and developed the questions that needed to be on the campaign request form to collect essential information for campaign scheduling.
  • Created the 'Campaigns Guidelines 2022' to educate clients on processes and expectations, fostering clearer communication.



4. Enhanced Click-Through Rates (CTR):

  • Implemented strategies that significantly improved CTR across all campaigns, driving higher engagement and conversion rates.



4. Support Driven Leadership Summit 2022:

Played a key part in the landing page for the Support Driven Leadership Summit in Portland, mastering Squarespace and documenting creative workarounds for future use.



5. Efficient Tools:

  • Leveraged a range of tools, including Canva, Social Bee and ClickUp.
  • Formulated an organized social media strategy.
  • Maintained open and efficient client communication via email, Slack, and meetings.


My multifaceted role as Marketing Team Lead at Support Driven showcased my ability to strategize, execute, mentor, streamline processes, and enhance communication for impactful marketing campaigns, while also introducing effective onboarding practices and elevating CTR across different communication marketing campaigns.
