Goal: To create beginners step-by-step drawing book series for kids.
Formats: Soft and hard cover, print on demand.
Age group: 6-12 y.o. / 12-16 y.o.
Challenge: To keep books simple, but yet involving and helpful.
How to Draw Your Favorite Things” shows tutorials on how to draw modern kids’ favorite things - from birthday cake to an iPhone. Thus, kids can relate and perceive instructions as a kind challenge, making drawings and further on, compositions that easy integrated into their daily life.
How to Draw Funny Things” teaches drawing in a funnier way - by creating animal hybrids and funny creatures on paper kids learn the basics of drawing. For elder age groups it is important to keep kid’s attention which is why the most unusual combinations have been created (taco + turtle, crabrador, etc.).
All step-by-step instructions are divided into chapters by topics and difficulty from easy to hard ones.
At the beginning of each book there is a chapter with basic principles of drawing with examples from the book for easier understanding. Kids can come back to it if they need to for a quick review.
Each tutorial is laid out in easy steps to follow. There is always a space to practice and try drawing it on your own.
