Merch Concept for a Dance Festival
The goal was to show the movement, freedom, plasticity of the dancers.
To express the feeling of drive, pure emotion, which unites all types of dance,
from classic to contemporary directions.
A mood-board for this project. I've been inspired by geometry and bright color spots in Avant-garde art from the one side and freedom of contemporary dance from the other.
After defining a pose that I want to recreate I've tried a couple of different approaches
before finding a final style. Below you can find my initial ideas and sketches.
A client's task was to create an illustration for their dance festival merch products,
t-shirts and postcards. The illustration had to be on the black background.
