Opticash Mobile App Redesign

I redesigned the Opticash mobile app for a fintech platform as the sole product designer, focusing on modernising the UI and significantly improving the user experience.

The project involved a full revamp of the previous app, with key goals including:

A cleaner, more intuitive interface

New features such as virtual cards

An expanded bill payment system covering services like school fees and utilities across the UK

Using the design thinking framework and double diamond process, I translated user research into actionable insights. I developed mockups, gathered team feedback, and ran multiple rounds of usability testing to refine the flow and functionality.

The result? A more user-centered product that not only meets business objectives but also enhances the everyday experience of users. Since launch, the app has seen a 30% increase in transaction volume, reflecting the impact of improved usability and new feature integration.
