Introduction

Skilltop Service App is an all-in-one SaaS platform designed to help service-oriented businesses and organizations streamline their operations. From client management to staff activity tracking, task delegation, in-app communication, and finance management, this tool simplifies complex workflows and improves operational efficiency. The platform is built with a user-centric approach, ensuring that businesses can easily navigate and manage their day-to-day activities without friction.

Overview

Many service-oriented businesses struggle with managing multiple aspects of their operations effectively. Often, they rely on fragmented solutions, leading to inefficiencies, communication gaps, and mismanaged resources. Skilltop Service App provides a centralized solution that covers:
Client/Customer Management: Track customer interactions, service history, and feedback.
Staff Activity & Task Management: Assign, monitor, and evaluate employee tasks and performance.
Employee Directory: Maintain a structured directory of all employees for better organization.
In-App Communication: Enable seamless interaction between team members.
Inventory Management by Departments: Efficiently allocate and track resources for various departments.
Finance Tracking & Management: Monitor expenses, revenue, and other financial metrics.
Comprehensive Reports: Generate detailed reports for insights and business decisions.

My Role

As the UI/UX Designer, I was responsible for designing an intuitive, accessible, and efficient user experience. My tasks included:
Conducting user research to understand pain points.
Developing user personas and customer journey maps.
Creating wireframes and prototypes to visualize the workflow.
Designing an aesthetic and functional UI aligned with business goals.
Performing usability testing to refine the design.
Collaborating with developers for seamless implementation.

Project Aim

The goal of Skilltop Service App was to create a unified digital tool that simplifies business management, reduces operational inefficiencies, and enhances collaboration. By addressing common challenges faced by service-based businesses, the app aimed to increase productivity, improve client retention, and optimize resource utilization.

The Problem

Before implementing Skilltop Service App, businesses faced:
Disjointed workflows due to multiple disconnected tools.
Lack of visibility into staff activities and task progress.
Inefficient communication between teams, leading to delays.
Poor inventory tracking, causing mismanagement of resources.
