A Little Peek into My Malaysia Journey

In the Spring 2022, I went to Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) as an Indonesian representative of one of the program from Indonesia Ministry of Education and Culture. During one semester in USM and neighbour country, I explored many things: the culture, places, heritage and its history, and definitely the people. On top of that, I met a lot of beautiful people from almost all around the world who were as curious as I was and didn't hesitate to learn from each other.

When I came back to Indonesia, I was asked to write a press release/article about everything I experienced during the program. This article was thus published on my department/faculty website. It's such an honor for me to write it in my own words and be read by a wide range of audience particularly the faculty's community. I wrote it in the third person perspective to make it less personal because I didn't think I would make it this far without the support from my faculty and university. Also, I want this experience not only as my story but also as an inspiration for my juniors, thus one day it could be their story too.
