I made the opening of a story-led explainer film for a fictional cocoa-farmer platform, Kokoleaf, in the illustration-and-animation approach. The 2:52 script in 12 scenes follows two neighbors in southwest Nigeria: Bisi sells through the platform and Kunle does not, from harvest and sale day to her season record, input credit, alerts and Kunle signing up. A character sheet keeps both farmers the same in all 12 storyboard frames and in a 64-second animatic of the opening minute at 1280x720 with open captions for the voiceover lines and a music bed; there is no voice, because the film calls for a human voiceover. An 8-second GIF shows the payment moment. Demo, not client work.
