Overview
Bijoux De Mimi is one of the UK's fastest-growing jewellery brands. Following a conversion audit of their existing store, the brand moved into a full redesign of their main site. This was my first project with design studio Hutch & Co: they led the design, I delivered the development, and I'm now Hutch & Co's head developer.
The brief
Rebuild the main store from the ground up: address every weakness surfaced in the audit, bring Hutch & Co's design to life exactly as intended, and add the custom functionality the brand's growth demanded, all on a fully custom Shopify build the team could run themselves.
What I did
I handled the full Shopify development, translating Hutch & Co's designs into a fully custom, pixel-accurate store built end to end. Highlights include gifting logic, with automatic free gifts over set spend thresholds, engineered for performance and for the team to manage day to day without developer dependency.
Outcome
The rebuilt site launched with the brand's best launch day to date for their newest collection. The build delivered directly on the audit's recommendations, closing the gaps that had been costing conversions.
