Batch — Healthy Food Delivery App

Batch is a Kuwait-based startup specializing in healthy meal delivery. The goal was to design a complete mobile application from the ground up - defining the product structure, user experience and visual identity I conducted competitor research, developed the full user flow, created high-fidelity wireframes and built the app’s visual system from scratch. In parallel, I packaged the brand identity and prepared presentation materials to support product positioning and launch readiness

What I Did

Market Research & Competitor Analysis
Product Strategy & User Flow Design
Wireframing (High-Fidelity)
Mobile App UI Design (End-to-End)
Visual Identity Development
Brand Packaging & Presentation Materials

1. Research & Competitor Analysis

I analyzed the healthy meal delivery market in Kuwait and reviewed key competitors to understand common patterns in ordering flows, plan selection, onboarding and checkout. This helped us identify usability gaps and opportunities to simplify the experience while keeping it premium and trustworthy. The insights from this stage shaped the app’s information architecture, feature set and overall UX direction

2. User Flow & Product Architecture

I designed a comprehensive user flow that defines the entire journey - from onboarding and meal plan selection to customization and checkout. Each step was structured to ensure logical progression, clarity and minimal friction. Particular attention was given to balancing flexibility with simplicity, allowing users to personalize their experience while keeping the ordering process smooth and intuitive

3. Wireframing & Screen Structure

Based on the defined user flow, we developed high-fidelity wireframes to shape the full application structure. These wireframes established layout logic, content hierarchy and interaction patterns across all core screens. This stage allowed me to validate functionality, ensure feature alignment and create a clear structural foundation before moving into final visual design

4. Visual Direction

Following the wireframing stage, I explored multiple visual directions to define the app’s aesthetic and tone. Each concept reflected Batch’s values - freshness, clarity and a modern, health-focused lifestyle. After presenting the options, the client selected the preferred direction, which I refined and expanded into the final visual system used across the entire application.

5. Full Application Design

I applied the approved visual direction across all screens, transforming the wireframes into a fully designed mobile application. Every feature was refined with consistent typography, color logic and component usage to ensure a cohesive experience The result was a complete, production-ready app design with unified style, clear hierarchy and smooth interaction across all user flows.

6. Marketing & Brand Assets

In addition to the app design, I developed supporting marketing materials to strengthen Batch’s brand presence. This included packaging visuals and social media presentation assets aligned with the app’s visual identity. By extending the design system beyond the product itself, I ensured a cohesive and recognizable brand experience across both digital and physical touchpoints.
