Built an AI-powered job search automation that discovers relevant LinkedIn opportunities, compares each position against a user's resume, generates a tailored cover letter, and delivers qualified matches through Google Sheets and Telegram.

The system transforms a repetitive daily job-search process into an automated workflow requiring only a few minutes of review.

Searching for jobs manually requires repeatedly:

This process can consume several hours every day and makes it easy to miss relevant opportunities.

I designed a configurable n8n workflow that combines LinkedIn data collection, resume parsing, AI job matching, cover-letter generation, Google Sheets, and Telegram notifications.

The user controls the search criteria through Google Sheets while the workflow handles the repetitive research and analysis automatically.

A scheduled trigger starts the workflow each day.

The user's PDF resume is retrieved from Google Drive and converted into usable text.

Search preferences are loaded from Google Sheets, including keywords, location, remote type, and job type.

LinkedIn job listings are collected according to the configured criteria.

Each job description is analyzed against the resume using OpenAI or Google Gemini.

The AI generates a match assessment and tailored cover letter for relevant positions.

Qualified opportunities are recorded in Google Sheets.

Telegram delivers a daily digest containing the job links, match information, and generated cover letters.
