SLOT is an experimental platform that allows people to acquire digital land anywhere in the world and place augmented reality objects in physical space.
Artists and digital creators can publish 3D artworks tied to real locations, while users discover them through geolocation, collect points, and trade spatial slots based on demand and visibility.
The project explores the intersection of digital ownership, physical space, and augmented reality.
Goal
Design and launch a complete product ecosystem — brand, website, mobile app, and marketing — turning an abstract idea into something usable, emotional, and real.
What I did
I led the entire project end-to-end. This included product concept development, brand identity, website design, iOS app UX/UI, AR interaction flows, motion design, copywriting, and marketing materials.
The landing experience was designed to introduce the concept clearly while preserving a sense of exploration and discovery. Motion and interaction played a central role in explaining how spatial ownership works.
In parallel, I designed the full iOS application: onboarding, map-based exploration, AR object placement, scoring mechanics, and marketplace logic. All flows were fully prototyped and handed off to development.
I also created a full animated beta teaser in After Effects, which was used to invite early users into the product.
Beyond design, I handled analytics setup for the website and social channels, shaped launch messaging, and designed supporting marketing assets.
Key parts
Rather than treating this as a website plus an app, I approached SLOT as a spatial product system — where brand, interface, motion, copy, and physical context all work together.
A major focus was making invisible concepts (digital land, ownership, volatility) feel understandable through visual hierarchy, motion, and interaction.
Both the website and mobile product were designed to guide users from curiosity to participation: discovering locations, viewing AR objects, collecting rewards, and understanding value.
Result
A fully designed AR platform with cohesive branding, interactive web presence, complete iOS product experience, and beta launch materials.
The beta attracted ~800 early user registrations and ~16,000 website visits.
