Bamboo Ecologic was launching a new platform for selling carbon removal certificates and needed their Framer-built website connected to Shopify for checkout. The challenge was bridging two systems: product content managed in Framer CMS, and purchasing handled through Shopify's buy button, without forcing users off-site or breaking the browsing experience.
The Solution
I built custom Framer code components that connect Framer CMS to Shopify's Storefront API, creating a seamless purchase flow within the existing Framer site.
Shopify buy button integration — Embedded Shopify's buy button directly into Framer pages through a custom code component, so visitors can purchase carbon removal certificates without leaving the site.
Framer CMS connection — Product data (certificate types, descriptions, pricing) is managed through Framer's built-in CMS. The custom components pull this content dynamically, so the Bamboologic team can update their product catalog without developer involvement.
Property controls for self-service — Each component includes Framer property controls, letting the team adjust layout options, button styling, and product mappings directly from the Framer editor.
Consistent design integration — The Shopify elements match Bamboologic's existing brand and site design, so the checkout experience feels native rather than bolted on.
Shopify and Framer Integration
The Result
The integration is live on bamboocarbonremoval.eu, giving Bamboo Ecologic a fully functional e-commerce flow powered by Shopify but managed and presented entirely within their Framer site.
