Illustrative SaaS Workflow Audit

Illustrative portfolio sample. Fictional HRMS and synthetic scenarios; no client engagement or test results are represented.
This sample demonstrates how I would review a business-critical SaaS workflow: requesting leave, obtaining approval, updating balances and handing records to payroll. I map roles, states and policy assumptions before considering individual screens, so the review follows the operating process.
Six constructed findings explore team-scoped access, locked payroll periods, delegated self-approval, duplicate leave deductions, overnight shifts and asynchronous export status. Each finding includes a synthetic evidence hook and a provisional priority. The sample distinguishes a control that would block a pilot from integrity and reliability issues that need scoped validation.
The second page translates every finding into testable acceptance criteria and defines a practical sequence: align on policy, reproduce the scenario in an authorised sandbox, then retest the fix and neighbouring conditions. It also identifies the evidence a real review would retain, including build, role, request ID and expected versus actual behaviour.
The deliverable shows my approach to business analysis, workflow review and requirements documentation. It claims no implementation, performance improvement or verified defect in an actual product.
