Vortex

This project aimed to establish Vortex as a prominent player in the VPN market. I shaped their brand identity, designed their website and online presence, and created a seamless app experience. My goal was to propel Vortex to the forefront of the industry, embodying trust, innovation, and exceptional user experience.

The Vortex logo was designed with inspiration drawn from the centric shape of whirlpools, embodying the concept of an expanding signal. It presents an abstract representation of this idea, capturing the essence of dynamic movement and energy.

Every detail has been meticulously crafted to create a captivating and immersive experience for our end-users and target audience. With a focus on capturing the dynamic and diverse nature of our users, we aimed to showcase their unique journeys and experiences. These essential visual components synergistically blend together, resulting in a seamless and immersive user experience that authentically embodies the core values of Vortex.

The Vortex website was crafted to adapt seamlessly to multiple breakpoints, ensuring optimal user experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Each component in the design system has been carefully crafted to meet specific interaction or UI needs and work seamlessly together. The design system includes typography, colour palette, icons, buttons and UI components, grid system, illustration style, and interaction guidelines. Each element plays a vital role in providing an intuitive and cohesive user experience, ensuring consistency and visual harmony throughout the app.

The onboarding and signup process sets the stage for users' initial interaction with our app, creating a seamless and engaging experience right from the start. As I wanted to make a positive first impression, I simplified the signup process to encourage user adoption. With a user-centric approach, I have designed an intuitive onboarding flow that guides users through the app's key features and benefits.

The connection page offers comprehensive details about your VPN connection. Stay informed with real-time data on upload and download activity. Discover server-specific information, empowering you with insights into your current connection. Seamlessly switch servers or fine-tune your selection, granting you the flexibility to adapt and optimise your VPN experience to suit your preferences.

The profile page is your command centre for managing your Vortex experience. Easily add or modify your subscription, enhance device security, and access a range of powerful protection features. It's your gateway to additional Vortex benefits such as their comprehensive help page, convenient cloud storage, and a multitude of other exclusive features designed to elevate your online security and privacy.

The server page serves as your gateway to an extensive network of servers. Seamlessly navigate through our vast selection, effortlessly sorting and filtering to find the ideal match for your needs. Customise your experience by marking servers as favourites and creating convenient shortcuts.

Within the app, you'll find an array of screens that bring the full power of the product to life. Explore various sections, including settings, notifications, and support pages, as well as many additional screens from the home, servers and profile pages.
