Overview: The Online Check-in feature streamlines the guest experience on Booking.com, allowing them to bypass traditional reception queues and proceed directly to their accommodations.

For Guests: Offers a seamless and efficient check-in process, enhancing the overall guest experience.
For Hotels and Apartments: Reduces the reliance on reception staff, and in certain scenarios, completely eliminates the need for them.
My Role and Contribution: From 2019 to 2023, I spearheaded the design of the Online Check-in feature at Booking.com. The project began as an opportunity validation, and over the years, I played a pivotal role in scaling and optimizing the feature for both Booking.com Guests and Partners.
Outcome: After three years of rigorous experimentation and optimization, we surpassed our initial goals, achieving a conversion rate increase of over 300%. This success positioned our Online Check-in user flow as one of the industry's highest, boasting a conversion rate of more than 20%.
