My role as a volunteer marketing assistant at a UK not-for-profit is multi-faceted. Wherever there is a need for my skill set I’m usually involved and frequently pushed beyond. This event is one of the projects I'm involved in. As the project leader my work extends beyond copywriting to include

arranging and holding meetings with community leaders and small businesses

identifying prospects for sponsorship

cold-calling

building event webpages and registration forms

and designing flyers and other promotional materials

The Sponsor Information letter below fills up one side of A4, and the Sponsor Registration form fills out the backside. As I visited each business, I distributed this form physically and I also distributed it by email to 98 local community businesses using MailChimp.
