I worked for several years in animal welfare as a program director. In this position, I led several social media campaigns to recruit foster parents. These posts led to extremely successful analytics and growth of the program.

Below is a sample of the variety of posts I would create for the holiday foster program. During the holiday season, the shelter would need to clear up as much space as possible. I had to find anywhere between 30-40 volunteers to help with the program. These posts were very successful in recruitment.

On a weekly basis, I made it a mission to create awareness for this program through social media. I targeted the main page, as well as local Facebook groups in order to recruit volunteers.

Within the foster program I facilitated, there were several sub-programs created to draw attention to specific groups of animals. The programs were sometimes seasonal, in an attempt to clear parts of the shelter during busier seasons.

This program and position was a labor of love and tears. These images are a fraction of the work I created for this non-profit group.
