I started with the logo - I wanted a mix between classic and trendy. Like Starbucks, there is an ability to be perceived as high end but also be served at malls and found in gas stations. This logo serves as a basis for all the designs. There are two coffee beans together that I have formed into a heart, and then a halo over the top - the "good" coffee bean.

The main purpose of this branding project was to showcase the package and product designs. I created several prototypes with "classic and trendy" in mind.

I saw this box and had an idea of an in-store and online gourmet coffee brand. You'll find the main logo on the front of the box, with a matte textured finish. On the inside, I created patterned tissue paper with a coffee theme. The inner sticker also includes the logo without text.

This idea was based on the shopping bags given at Starbucks locations. The Good Bean would have individual store fronts to sell grounds, coffee pods, coffee makers and accessories. The two bags are the same, with a slight change in color on the inside and outside. For the front of the bag, you'll find a textured finish with the appearance of a coffee stain. Additionally, the tag on the bag only consists of the logo and would potentially be considered a gift tag for the customer.

For the cups that would be given to customers in stores, I wanted two different options. Like a cafe, there would be glass mugs given for customers dining in and disposable paper cups for to-go order.

The cans came with the idea of individually sold Starbucks drinks you find at the grocery store or gas stations. These have more of a trendy and "on-the-go" look.
