Rinkly is a modern mobile booking platform designed to eliminate long lines, paper forms, and manual processes at roller skating rinks. It covers the full customer journey: rink discovery, real-time session booking, digital waiver signing, secure payments, and QR-code entry. The result is a seamless experience for skaters and a powerful operational tool for rink owners.
Problem
The traditional rink experience is slow and outdated. Visitors deal with long queues, manual waiver forms, unclear session availability, and unreliable payment handling. This leads to customer frustration, operational inefficiencies, and lost revenue opportunities for rink owners.
Role
Lead Mobile Developer & System Architect I handled the complete lifecycle of the project, including system design, frontend development in FlutterFlow and Flutter, serverless backend architecture, Stripe integration, and deployment for iOS and Android.
Objective
The goal was to create a fully digital, frictionless rink experience.
For skaters:
Discover rinks, book sessions, sign waivers, and pay in under 60 seconds
Avoid lines, paper forms, and manual check-in
Receive real-time booking confirmation and QR-code entry tickets
For rink owners:
