For Storebridger, it all starts with one idea. It's where the startup founder's dreams come true. Storebridger is a business technology SaaS tool that supports entrepreneurs with everything they need to scale their business, starting with their flagship product, Contractpay, an order fulfilment and escrow payment tool that helps reduce friction between merchants and customers in low trust markets. Beyond fulfilment and escrow, the company has integrated bookkeeping, inventory management, analytics and a website builder into its product, fulfiling its promise of supporting entrepreneurs with everything they need to succeed.
The Social Vendor
In our strategy, Storebridger's ICP is described as a social vendor. These are MSMEs at their budding stages, without the infrastructure and capital needed to scale their businesses. This customer usually plays different roles in their company as they can’t afford to hire people. Their success in sales rely heavily on social interaction to build trust due to the fact that they may not be seen as a trustworthy establishment. This makes them run their business mostly via social media and online marketplaces.
The Rocket Launcher
Storebridger's brand promises that you need nothing more than an idea. This heavily informed the concept of the logomark being a rocket. The logo symbolizes the launching of your idea from concept to reality, with Storebridger present at every step along the journey.
Store bridger’s naming is based on descriptive(store) and metaphorical(bridge) types. The name conveys the nature of the business and accommodates line extensions within the business technology category. Descriptive names are easy to understand. However, they are difficult to protect. Having a logomark that deviates from that in a literal sense adds a layer of distinctiveness to the brand.
This project involved 2 weeks of strategic exploration, 4 weeks of visual exploration and one final week of documentation.
