At BitMEX, one of the pioneering cryptocurrency derivatives trading platforms, I served as a UX/UI Designer, focusing on enhancing the trading experience for less sophisticated users. My role involved leading discovery sessions with subject-matter experts and end-users to deeply understand user behaviors and needs within complex trading environments. I successfully designed and launched a new native mobile experience aimed at simplifying the management of crypto-assets and facilitating user conversion into active traders. Additionally, I advocated for and helped create a shared design language system and a custom numeric typeface to ensure consistency across deliverables, leveraging atomic design principles to improve scalability and maintainability​​.
