WordPress Technical SEO Implementation + Live QA

An agency partner needed a set of technical SEO changes completed on an existing professional-services WordPress website. The changes needed to be live, checked and clearly documented for handover.

I handled the WordPress implementation and verification while the partner managed the end-client relationship.

The work included establishing the Google Search Console property and confirming that the sitemap had been processed. I corrected the homepage canonical URL, page title, meta description and main heading, then updated the agreed metadata on priority service pages.

I worked within the existing theme and Yoast SEO setup. Each change was tied to the agreed task list, with revisions handled as part of the delivery.

After implementation, I checked the live homepage and service pages against the requested changes. These checks covered the output visitors and crawlers received, alongside the Search Console and sitemap checks.

I assembled a delivery record showing completed items, verification results and remaining exceptions. This gave the agency a clear account of what had changed and what still needed attention.

The work was retested and accepted. The agency received the implemented changes together with the documentation needed to review them and hand the project back to its client.
