WordPress 5xx Crawl Error: Diagnosing a Plugin Conflict

The problem

A WordPress website had a crawl blocker reported as a 5xx error in Google Search Console. The issue needed investigation within the website to identify the cause and correct the affected behavior.
A 5xx report describes a server-side failure. It does not, by itself, identify the responsible plugin or explain which part of a WordPress installation needs attention.

My role and work

I handled the technical investigation and correction. Using Search Console and HTTP diagnosis, I traced the crawl blocker to a conflict involving Autoptimize, a WordPress optimization plugin.
I isolated the conflict and corrected the affected behavior. The work connected a search-engine error report to a specific cause within the WordPress installation.

The outcome

The identified plugin conflict was corrected. This was a focused technical repair: diagnosis followed through into implementation.
For similar work, I investigate the affected behavior before recommending a change. An optimization-plugin conflict needs a site-specific diagnosis; the same plugin name alone is not enough to prescribe the same correction elsewhere.
