The Challenge

The conventional center console screen of the Rimac C2 posed a challenge, requiring a transition from traditional physical controls to digital representations for essential elements such as the steering wheel, mirrors, and seats. Additionally, integrating crucial functionalities like media control, climate settings, navigation, and other driver-centric elements into a cohesive and user-friendly digital interface was a challenge for Rimac requiring excellent interaction design fundamentals and a process.

The Goal

Our goal was to redefine the user experience within the Rimac Concept Two by seamlessly transforming traditional physical controls into intuitive digital interfaces. Simultaneously, we aimed to enhance the overall functionality of the central infotainment display, encompassing media, climate, navigation, and other essential driver elements. The objective was to deliver an innovative, visually cohesive, and ergonomic solution that aligns with the cutting-edge nature of the Rimac C2.

The Solution

In response to the challenge, we embarked on a mission to craft a  solution for the Rimac Concept Two's center console screen. Leveraging our expertise in UX design, we seamlessly translated physical controls into user-friendly digital representations, ensuring an intuitive interface for elements like the steering wheel, mirrors, and seats. Our comprehensive approach extended to the integration of central infotainment functionalities, delivering a unified and visually appealing design for media control, climate settings, navigation, and additional driver elements.
