A few days ago, I started making my mockups pack, with business cards mockups. In this post, you will see what was my process, what setup I used, software, and technical details! I hope you will enjoy reading this, so let's begin.

I looked at other people's card mockups, analyzed the lighting, camera angles, compositions and environments.

After research, I began to prepare the scene, which included background for the cards, design showcased on them, scale, camera angles, and HDRIs + materials. I used 2.0 US standard cards, with my design. I used Geist black, on the "Mockup word" and Work Sans semibold on smaller text. Design:

I started with rendering 2 cards on dark background, and then added a light version. Renders:

Then I decided to make some mockups with more interesting backgrounds. These were 2-cards and 1-card versions, with metal lines, which guided the user eye to the center of the image, where the cards were.
