Elevating Short-Term Rentals with Mar&Jor Property Management

What we built For this project, we designed and launched a boutique website for Mar&Jor Property Management—a family-owned, short-term rental management company. The goal was to highlight their boutique, high-touch service, advanced technology use, and genuine hospitality. Role & contributions
Lead designer & developer: I handled everything from planning the site’s structure to building its pages and integrating features.
Brand voice & tone: Focused on clarity and warmth—much like someone explaining their business to a smart friend.
Feature highlights: Crafted sections for Services, About Us, Properties, Reviews, Airbnb Calculator, and Contact. Emphasized messaging like “premium property management,” “maximum returns,” and “exceptional guest experiences,” keeping language direct and personal.
Challenges & solutions
Showcasing personality: As a boutique service, Mar&Jor needed to look polished without feeling corporate. I balanced professional polish with photos of Maria and Jorge, real guest testimonials, and friendly, genuine copy.
Technology meets warmth: To stand out—and clarify their edge—I spotlighted how they use “state-of-the-art technology,” without sounding buzzwordy. Instead, I described how this drives occupancy and guest satisfaction.
Outcome
Elevated presence: Visitors immediately sense the personalized care and expertise driving Mar&Jor.
Clear journey: It’s easy to understand who they are, how they serve property owners and guests, and how to get started—via the Airbnb Calculator or a quick contact form.
Authentic trust: Real testimonials (highlighting thoughtful touches, speedy responses, and pristine homes) instill confidence.
