Construction & Network Expansion Build Program

Spearheaded the expansion of Beanfield Metroconnect's network infrastructure, increasing onnet buildings by 55% over 3 years. As Construction Project Manager for this leading Toronto telecom company, I oversaw a diverse portfolio of projects, including backbone builds, aerial and underground deployments, and FTTx installations for both residential and commercial clients. My focus was on delivering efficient, high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Simultaneously oversaw up to 15 construction and network expansion projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (design, permitting, construction crews, legal, network operations) to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, while maintaining high quality and efficiency throughout the entire process. Navigated complex stakeholder relationships with building owners, property managers, residents, and local authorities through clear communication and proactive management of expectations, ensuring project alignment and regulatory compliance. Implemented project management (JIRA) and ERP (SAP) tools to optimize resource allocation, minimize project costs, and deliver projects on schedule.

Demonstrated leadership by managing the successful build and deployment of an average of 50 new on-net buildings per year, fostering collaboration among diverse teams, and ensuring high-quality project delivery on time and within budget. This resulted in the addition approximately 8500 serviceable addresses over 3 years.
