That’s the essence of Yal, a social travel app designed for explorers who crave unique experiences. When crafting Yal’s brand identity, I set out to capture that sense of adventure, movement, and connection in a way that feels both exciting and professional.

Logo Rationale At the heart of Yal’s visual identity is a logo that tells a story of exploration. The airplane and arrow seamlessly form the letter “Y”, symbolizing adventure and direction—two things every traveler needs. It’s simple, iconic, and instantly recognizable.

Brand Colors Yal’s name in Arabic means “land and sea,” and that became the foundation of its vibrant color palette. Ocean and sky blues represent the vastness of travel, while sandy browns, warm oranges, and soft pinks reflect the beauty of landscapes seen at sunrise and sunset. To bring in the thrill of the outdoors, I introduced deep greens, evoking nature, adventure, and the excitement of exploring the unknown.

A strong brand isn’t just a great logo and colors—it’s about how it all comes together in the real world. To showcase Yal’s personality, I designed a range of brand applications, including engaging social media graphics and sleek, professional social media pages. These assets bring the brand’s fun-yet-polished personality to life, making Yal feel like a community, not just an app.
