Bokku! - Discount Grocery Store helps Nigerians meet daily needs without breaking the budget — but the brand identity? It deserves to speak louder.
Let’s be honest — the current Bokku! logo is clean, but it’s also generic. No story. No symbolism. No connection. Just text. And in today’s world, where brands live on shelves, screens, and in hearts, text alone won’t cut it.
Bokku! Mart is a movement a retail brand that brings plenty to everyday Nigerians at affordable prices. It’s joyful, local, essential, and human. So why doesn’t the logo reflect that? That’s why I reimagined it — not just for looks, but for meaning:
🔹 The new symbol is born from the letter “b” (for Bokku), cut and mirrored to form a bold, modern “X” —the universal sign for multiplication, connection, and plenty
🔹 The form also hints at community — people coming together, unified and happy
🔹 The typography is custom, playful, and confident, reflecting the brand’s name and tone
🔹 The design works across bags, storefronts, social media, and signage without losing clarity
Unlike the current logo, this rebrand:
❌ Doesn’t rely on cliché grocery symbols like carts or bread
❌ Doesn’t blend into the crowd of lowercase text-based store logos
❌ Doesn’t miss the emotional story that drives the Bokku! mission
Instead, it delivers:
✅ A brand identity that speaks, not just sits
✅ A look that’s modern, minimal, and memorable
✅ A feeling — of plenty, unity, and trust I believe brands like Bokku! deserve more than a logo — they deserve a voice.
And this, right here, is that voice. 👉🏽 If Bokku_Stores ever wants to evolve into a national symbol for affordable living, this is a step in the right direction. What do you think?
